The Event Details view displays the full information for one selected JEM event. It is the page visitors normally reach after clicking an event title from an events list, calendar, map, module, category page, venue page, or type page.
Use this view when you want to provide a dedicated page for a specific event, with its date, time, venue, categories, event type, description, image, registration options, attachments, map information, contact details, and related event actions.
Purpose
The Event Details view is the main public page for an individual event. It brings together the event data, venue data, registration status, and optional frontend actions in one place.

When to Use This View

Venue Information
If the event is linked to a venue, the Event Details view can show the venue name, address, city, county or region, country, image, website link, and map information. The exact output depends on the JEM global settings, event page settings, menu options, and the selected layout.
Recurrence
Event recurrence lets you create a series of events from one main event and a shared repeat rule. It is useful for activities that happen on a regular schedule, such as weekly classes, monthly meetings, or seasonal programmes. Instead of creating each date manually, JEM can generate the related occurrences and keep them connected as part of the same event series.
Registration
If registration is enabled for the event, visitors may be able to register, cancel their registration, join a waiting list, or manage places depending on the event configuration and their user permissions.
Recurring events may also offer registration options for a single event occurrence or for the event series, depending on the event settings.
Recurring Events
When an event belongs to a recurring series, JEM can display recurring-event indicators. The first event in a recurring series and generated recurring events may be visually marked so visitors and administrators can understand the relationship between them.

Depending on configuration and permissions, the Event Details view may show actions such as:

Access and Visibility
The event is only visible when the event, its category, and the relevant access levels allow the visitor to see it. Venue access can also affect how much venue information is displayed.
