Hi jojo12
Great idea! It's so simple and ingenious at the same time. I will try this out right away.
Thanks a lot!

Re: Joomla 4 support?
3 years 8 months ago - 3 years 8 months agoYou could hire a coder for x amount of money, who is going to maintain the code?
If you stop when you see challenges in the future, you will never do a step.
Your constructive suggestions to solve this questions are welcome.

Re: Joomla 4 support?
3 years 8 months agoI'm thinking of hiring a freelance developer to migrate JEM from J3 to J4.
[…]
If this is a general wish, we could do a fundraising […]
I think we would need €400–500.
The response to this idea is very moderate

As I want JEM to live on, I see an other possibility:
I will start a crowdfunding at www.startnext.com and do it as my personal project.
Once it is done I will make it available for all of you.
As far as I see this is compatible with the license ( www.gnu.org/licenses/old-licenses/gpl-2.0.html )
And yes, the question of maintaining the code remains.
I will wait for a few days to check, if there are any reactions an then see how I will do it.
Would it be possible you one of you forum admins, to send a call for donations to all of the forum members?

Thank you hekla for the initiative!
I am not sure but could this also be a task of the JEMSA ?
Nevertheless, I will definitely support the crowdfunding.
