Example:
In the winter we use for training local gym, but we have access to only there if we are at least 6 people and pick up the keys to the gym one day in advance.

Based on this I have an idea for a developer about improvements. I would be happy if it were set:

Possibility of setting automatic cancellation of the event, if there are less (than the set minimum number of participants) to the time of X hours before the event starts.
If the event is canceled this way, it would be good to have already been informed participants registered. Information about canceling the event, was on site until the start of the event.

I fear this is a bit too much.
Next will be automatic creation of events! :-)

jojo12, I know... ;)

Just think about how to inform participants of the event, if the event is canceled due to low participation reported (by a certain time before the event) ...

when you change something in the event, e.g. you add - CANCELLED.
Then (when mail settings are right) the attending users get a mail information!

I know it is also a solution. This, however, requires a person sitting at a computer, who's there to write and the event ends ... ;)

Hi Kralyk,

I fear you will always need a person contacting your site at the right moment. A web server generally hangs around and does absolutely nothings until someone sends a request (or post). There is no general way to execute code at any or a given time. One could try to use a cron server but that's sometimes tricky.

And personally I would never give a stupid machine the power to decide if humans are allowed to have fun or not. ;)
