The issue has been confirmed and fixed for JEM 5.0.2.
On narrow screens, the mobile rules did not correctly override the desktop timeline columns. This left too little space for the event card and caused the navigation controls to overlap.
The fix allows the navigation to wrap, uses the available screen width and makes the timeline columns more compact in both frontend layouts
You can download the fix in this commits (copy these 2 files in JEM):
github.com/jemproject/JEM-Project/commit/21ed5d6d19399ccd14d9d527c624f716ee406fd9
Thank you for reporting the problem and providing the screenshot.
Let us know whether the display is now correct.
