[SOLVED] Subscribing with iCal url
Subscribing with iCal url
2 weeks 2 days ago
Good moring.
On our page there is hidden menu item "event-details" pointing to Simplelist with parameter unfinished events
In my calendar program I can subscribe :
pcagev.de/event-details?format=raw&layout=ics to get all unfinished events.
pcagev.de/event-details?task=archive&filter_reset=1& format=raw&layout=ics to get all archived events
Is there a task, ... to subscribe to all "archived or unfinished" events - combining the upper 2 comands and get "all" events.

You can make a hidden menu in the event list. In the options, you add 'Show only archived events = Yes'. This will show you all past and future events. You can also change the view so it doesn't show all events, just the ones from the last year and the next year. To do that, you can set 'Number of days before today = 365' and 'Number of days after today = 365'.
This is possible to do, but I don't see why users would find it useful to sync such old events to their calendar using the ICS file they can download from that view. I'm sure it has some useful purpose, but I just don't see it (download all events, as backup by ics file).

Thanks.
Why: ... because the "events" are trainings and some people want to see in which trainings they participated in the past
and how they spend their time (kind of journal).
(no download - we subscribe)
