When using "JEM -> Control Panel ->Update Check" the following message shows up (always):  Update server currently not available. Please try again later!

Is that feature still necessary? Joomla does a good job in checking extension updates. 

JEM: Package:4.4.2

In the latest RC4 [02.07.2026 16:30], you'll see the update check page has been redesigned.

OK - but this is at my prodution system at 4.4.2  - i can not apply 4.5 right now. 
I can confirm that on test system 4.5.0 rc4 it works fine. 

Lets wait until 4.5.0 final and check then again.
