- update JEM 4.4.2. to 4.5.0 --> update Joomla 5 to Joomla 6 with all other extensions --> update JEM 4.5 to 5.0
- update Joomla 5 to Joomla 6 with all other extensions -> update JEM 4.4.2 to JEM 5.0 skipping 4.5.0
- any other options?

Since today 2026-07-03 the recommended path for joomla 5.4.6 and jem 4.4.2 has changed and is:
keep joomla 5.4.6 and upgrade jem 4.4.2 to jem 5.0.0 then upgrade joomla 5.4.6 to joomla 6.x.x
Right?
