ics file: Replacing location text by URL: to videoconferencing room

     Is there a need to first upgrade to 4.5 or is it possible to upgrade direct from current to 5.0 (after having upgraded to Joomla 6)? 
We dont need this  feature "today" and could wait until official release 5.0 - all our other extension already support Joomla 6. 

Now regarding 4.5.0 rc2: Still the same - no Link to Jitsi Meeting in the ics - and also no link is not shown in the Simpellist view. 
(By the way: under Permission there are  2 times the fields Display Venue Address)

Thanks for reporting this with details, they help me to debug it.

Fixed, several things. This has been adjusted in the new refresh RC2 zip file.

The behaviour is now:

- The physical venue/address remains in the ICS LOCATION field when a venue is assigned.
- The online meeting URL is exported separately as a CONFERENCE entry (JEM 5.0.0 for J6).
- The online meeting link can also be added to the ICS description, depending on the JEM setting.
- If an event has no physical venue but has an online meeting URL, JEM uses the meeting platform/name as a fallback location.

In jem Settings - Event page TAB - Event Links, you must see this:

 

When you edit an event, in the permisions tab, you must see this:

 

The second label was wrong, now it's fine.

There are also backend options to control whether the online meeting URL is included in ICS exports and whether it is added to the ICS description.

Please, download de the regenerated RC2 packages for JEM 4.5.0 and JEM 5.0.0, and test it again. Thanks.

Perfect - now it works. I tested only in joomla 5 ergo jem 4.5.0 rc

There are 2 small things left: 

1. In Simplelist view the headline "Online Meeting" has the wrong font Karla. The font is the same as the text but headlines should have a special font in Joomla. In my case Karla for text  and Public Sans for headlines (purity iv template). The description headline has the right font (Public Sans)
   
2. After clicking the online meeting button the button label disappears and only show up when hovering over.

Soon I will install Joomla 6 on my test system to check JEM version 5 and the other extenision to be able to migrate in the next months.

I think that the last 2 issues are fixed with this commit:

Test it and tell if it works.

I wait for the update of the release candidate as I dont have the dev-environment to apply a commit (and dont want to upload the files manually).
