JEM Venue map

Hi all,

I created a module the shows a map (google maps) with all JEM venues. You pick your own icon, set your Google API key an set de default zoom.

I must say I'm impressed! Looks good and I already fantasize about added functionality.. 

First of all I'm curious what the developers of JEM think: Should this be captured in a module, or is this actually a 'view'? 
Functionality wise:

• would it be possible to add a date selector? (for events: what's going on 'today', 'tomorrow', any given date?
• for the mobile version of JEM: what is going on in the town / country I'm currently in? For such a function it should either grab the location from your logged-in profile (e.g. if a connection with Community Builder has ben made) of grab the current location of your phone (if the user has granted the rights)

Again: Great work!
 

Any ideas, suggestions, or contributions are welcome. The module works well and could be integrated into a view.
The proposed module can be uploaded via a pull request to the JEM-dev.4.4.0 branch.

Hi All,

I have the modules ready as leaflet with OpenStreetMaps.
In the zip file you will find: 
- Description in Dutch and English
- SVG markers
- Module Leaflet V1.0.4
- Module Leaflet V1.0 5 (this version contains a filter) 
You can read in the word document about the difference.

Good luck testing and using it.
