It's been a couple of years since I have installed this fabulous component and also posted here.

A month ago we started receiving bot registrations for the first time. Captcha is enabled on our JEM Registration form. My question is:
Is CAPTCHA automatically bundled with JEM or did we install it ourselves?

I cannot see any threads relating to unwanted registrations. I do see topics on the Internet advising that ReCaptcha has better blocking power than Captcha. I'd appreciate any commentary the above. TIA.

Hi, I think you installed it by yourself. In Jem you decide who is able to create/edit events. If you decide to open it for all, then you have to secure it by yourself, because you're responsible for the content
