Hello,
In the view components/com_jem/common/views/tmpl/default_events_table.php of JEM 2.3.3 at line 75 there is a mistype. You will find there the code <th>, producing an empty line above the table. Code <th> has to be removed.

I agree, this is a bug.

For those who want to correct it in the zip package before the upload:
  com_jem.zip\com_jem\site\common\views\tmpl\default_events_table.php
