Hello,
I have multi venues events, events that occur in more than one venue.
How can I setup this ?
What about getting events that occur in more than one venues in different dates, should I duplicate the event or is there other solution?
Thanks

I think the best solution would be to duplicate the event.
Logically an event can not be on two different places at the same time. So they are two different events.

Hi @Egnarts
In my case we have for example a christian holiday that is commemorated with festivals in different locations.
So for me it seams the same event in different locations.
Thanks

I think you should create duplicate event and then change information its easy and time saving.

I have some recurrent events with the same name, but the venues are changing.
My solution was:
Creating a venue "changing places - see event description" and inserting the different places in eventdescription.

In JEM there is no better way than to copy the event and alter the info.
I've written a post in the past in the (non public) developers forum on how this could be solved, including a main event (festival) with various sub-events, spread over multiple days.
But it would mean a complete restructure of the code in such a drastic way it would be a new component.
A much easier solution could be to create a 1-n relation between events, where one becomes master, and the others slaves. But it's future, unless more people are willing to code....
