Hi JoomlaEventManger team,

I wonder if any progress has been made regarding this matter.

We're very interesting in it.

Kind regards!

I'm working hard on it... :)

We plan to provide this with our next version. Generally it works but there are some little things (you know: the famous last 10 percent ;) ).

With this a user will be able to say "I will attned" or "I will not attend" and toggle this decision if needed.
Additionally it will be possible for the event creator to invite users and limit registration to these users.

Hi JEM-development-Team.
To organize our hockey team events I was using Eventmanager for previous Joomla versions and now JEM.
As we need to know who will not attend at our events I needed to enhance the database for attendees with a column to store an "unregister datetime" that is set when a user unregisters from an event. Unregistering needs to update the registration data set instead of deleting it. This works fine for my team mates and is a possible solution for requests in this thread. Having an unregistered-date, we can check if am user has unregistered from an event at an acceptable time. Registering again to an event updates registration date and resets unregister date.
Unregistered users are presented in a similiar way as it's done for registered ones and visible to logged in users.

As I'm not a skilled php developer I will inspect your coding to store comments and make this great new function to my modifications. A request that I have for my site for a very long time but I failed to implement this function to my JEM modifications. The comments should be visible in brackets following the registered/unregistered user to those users who have logged in to our site.
Hopefully your development is faster than mine and I can make use of your continuous improvements of this component.
Thank you for your efforts to keep JEM alive and modern! It's a great package! Please go ahead with it!

Dear Team

Would be great to have a feature "will not take part" at the event. I organize a soccer Team and need to know who will be there and who not.

best regards
René
