Options for attendee when registering for event?

Hi,

I've been looking for some additional choices when a user registers for an event, but so far I've found nothing.

What I would like is: When somebody registers for an event they get to make a choice of which team or group they want to belong to during the event. This could be made with a dropdown menu or radio buttons for example.

Would that be possible in JEM? Does this already exist, and I'm just unable to find it?

Hi, since JEM 2.2.0 there is the possibility to add a comment to the eventregistration. So I would write in thw description the different groups and the users can comment in which group they will participate.
A dropdown and other possibilities are too special, we woll not offer.

I'm sorry to hear that you think it's too specialized. I think a lot of people would appreciate to have this option, if it existed.

In the Backend, when I'm adding a new event and choosing details for Registration, I'd just like some extra options:

• A checkbox to choose if "Sub-groups" are used for this event or not.
• When "Sub-groups" are used, there could be a few fields to enter the different sub-groups for this event.
• When somebody Registers for the event they can choose one of the different sub-groups through a dropdown menu.

I guess I'll give it a shot and see if I can fix this by myself.
