Event Registrations Not Visible to Non-Registrants
1 week 1 day ago - 1 week 1 day ago
Following the latest update, the list of event registrants is no longer visible to users who are not registered for the event.Previously, users could view the list of registrants without registering themselves.

Thank you for reporting this.
We found that “All Attending Users” now requires confirmed registration for the event, whereas previously logged-in users could see the list without registering.
Fix commit:
github.com/jemproject/JEM-Project/commit/2b95a41d512fca76d787750662cf008ea51c7737
We have implemented an improvement for JEM 5.0.2 and 5.1.0: a new “Logged-in users” option. We have also renamed “All Attending Users” to “Event attendees only” to make the distinction clearer.
Once you install a build containing this change, go to Components → JEM → Settings → Event Page → Registration → Show Attendee Names to, select “Logged-in users”, and save. Users will then be able to see the list after logging in, without registering for the event.
Existing settings are preserved. “Everybody” still allows visitors who are not logged in to see the names.
This commit is include into last updated ZIP, you can download JEM 5.0.2 beta 1 from:
www.joomlaeventmanager.net/download/beta-versions
Test it and tell me if it works.

Thanks for looking into this issue, however, I am not sure whether this fixes the problem. When Show Attendee Names to is set to either Registered Users or Logged-in Users, I still cannot see the list of registered attendees unless I register for the event myself. As a workaround, I have set this option to Everybody, since access to our JEM component is already restricted to registered users.

Thanks for clarifying.
With Logged-in users, you should be able to see attendee names without registering for the event. The behaviour you describe is not intended.
The refreshed JEM 5.0.2 Beta 1 includes the correction and clearer option names:
- Logged-in users: any signed-in user can see the list, without joining the event.
- Confirmed attendees only: the user must have a confirmed registration for that event.
- Everybody: includes guests who can access the event page.
Please install the refreshed beta, download from:
www.joomlaeventmanager.net/download/beta-versions
Select Logged-in users, save, and test with an account that has not registered for the event. There should be at least one confirmed attendee to display.
You can review the changes in this commit:
github.com/jemproject/JEM-Project/commit/e29d4500d
If the list is still missing, please let us know whether your template has a JEM event override, particularly default_attendees.php.
Thank you for testing! Tell me if now it works.
