[SOLVED] JEM Settings for Event and/or Venue page

Joomla 5.3.0 /  JEM 4.3.2

In the back-end settings for both Event page and Venue page there are 2 fields:

• Top Level Domain of Google Maps Homepage.
• Google Maps language

There are no idications as to what can be filled in there (also not with inline help)
I tried "Belgium" for top domain and "Dutch" for language, but that made no difference in the frontend map display (even after clear-cache)

For instance, I want "View larger map" to say "Grotere kaart bekijken"
(this is possible with the plugin embed_google_map by Petteri Kivimäki)

There is either a bug or I did not fill in the correct values.

Hi, this help will come with inline-help in the next update: but it worked fine always
it's only for google maps:
the TLD can be com , de or ch ... be
the language en, de, fr, nl

EDIT: and you can use two different maps, one on event page and the other on venue page!

Indeed with JEM 4.3.3 the inline help for these fields is now present, but not translated yet

Funny, on the Crowdin platform I get advance warnings from the project lead about new strings BEFORE the new product version is released.
From Transifex I got nothing, nada, rien , nichts ....

Wondering how long it is going to take before my completed nl-BE is available for download.

If you want install the new language files from transifex, you can choose the complicated way, downloading and renaming the "files for use" in transifex. The new language files for 4.3.3 will come asap
