Hello together,
I think the next release of JEM that is compatible to php8 and Joomla 4 will take some time.
So i prepared a beta-release for JEM 2.3, Joomla 3 and php8 (and its compatible to php7.4)
Please test it, if you find any errors, write them down here pelase!

with clean Joomla 3.10.11 on php 8.0.10, when trying to install examples after installing a new JEM 2.3.4 beta, I get:
Fatal error: Array and string offset access syntax with curly braces is no longer supported in mysite.ch\administrator\components\com_jem\models\sampledata.php on line 78

I did't resolve the autopublish bug. Did you test it with "show publish tab" enabled?
Please test it with this setting disabled - so the publish tab is not shown in the frontend. Then the problem occurs (as written in the original post):
