Remove frontend event submission 10 months 4 weeks ago #28714

ok, thanks, I will just hide the buttons in CSS. It seems the admins are not used to be able to do something in the frontend. The want to do everything in the backend and got confused that they have the buttons. so I will make it easier for them and hide them :-)

Only loud thinking: Normally you give admin rights to as few people as possible. Because the backend is very powerful. There you can delete and destroy a lot! So it's would be better, to let there in only the most experienced people!
on JEM 2.3.3 stable in latest Joomla (3.10.2) Protostar php7.4.15
Personally I use t4_B5 template with t4_system plugin framework with bootstrap 5 and fontawesome)
(I prefer free "Signal" or paid "Threema" instead of "Whatsapp".)

thanks, I configured the backend with custom admin menus so that they only see the things they need to see, and also configured the ACL.
