Did you try the autoarchive button in housekeeping?
EDIT:
I had once a problem with the proposed date "recurrence until": is this date ok?

The recurring sequence is three month
ending february 2018

it should be shown end of may

Can you make bigger this number! e.g. 365
before creating a recurrence!
