Wide and Teaser modules

I am using one of these (client undecided as yet) to promote events in a specific area using Category ID which will relate to an geographical area.
What neither of us like is the white block which is meant to be an image (of what?) - it's calling .../media/system/images/blank.jpg. Shouldn't this be the event image?
Secondly, can we get rid of the venue image? Seems crazy to have the venue image but no event image!!

did you try the mod_jem_banner too? Because it a teaser module with much more possibilities! It's a sun of the teaser module.

Yes I had tried it. It became too long on the page. We just want the next 5 events in a one liner per event, so the Wide module is the best fit for us. And the Banner module had no images apart from the date which was too big for us.
Again, what is the blank, white rectangle (I've put a "?" over it)? And why the venue photo rather than the event photo?

This area is for the event image as you can see on our Demo site.

Ah!!! Thank you. Silly client for not uploading an image there (not to mention silly designer for not realizing it!!). Cheers.

Suddenly, the images in this module are displaying very wide and not very high even though they are roughly 4:3 ratio.
