Alternate Event List Layout

I find that I am in need of an alternate Event List component that can be called from a menu.

I am coordinator for a non-profit that hosts public open houses every November. We have about 250 venues that usually see about 350 events scheduled during the month.

The Event List is the best for viewing the lists, but I really need for it to include the full address so that people do not need to open every venue to get to this info.

The Event List currently displays:
DATE/TIME TITLE VENUE CITY STATE CATEGORY

Ideally what I would like is
DATE/TIME TITLE VENUE
ADDRESS
CITY STATE ZIP

or
DATE/TIME TITLE VENUE ADDRESS CITY STATE ZIP

Is this worthy of a new component?

Or can someone modify and rename (so I don't lose the original) the current component for me?

When I posted, blank spaces were removed.

I wanted ADDRESS and CITY STATE ZIP in the same table cell as VENUE, just below them.

would say no.

but something that can be done is to create a alternate layout that can be selected from menu-item.
or a different option can be to use overrides

Being only a casual programmer who has never gotten into developing Joomla extensions, I don't know what is involved or what to ask for. Any way to get to the end result would be fine, including an alternate layout for the existing component.

no problem at all.

basicly the whole eventslist-view can be adapted to what you want to achieve. For example you can take a look at the attachment. That's also a modified eventslist-page. that said, the biggest thing is to create the layout but hopefully someone can help you out. Can try a bit too but that will be later as I'm busy with a different issue.

uhm, were you mentioning something like the attachment?
or did you had a complete different layout in mind?
