Hi Frank,
Thank you for testing and confirming that the event ordering works correctly again.

We plan to release JEM 5.0.2 stable at the end of October. In the meantime, you can apply this fix to your production installation without installing the full beta package. Please back up your site and test the changes on a copy first.

Don't copy the test/... files are for testing (unit test).
