It would be very useful if the calendar for the end date shows only dates that are after the start date.

Is a good idea, but this counts to more confort. Our main devs work at the moment on more important things, If you or someone other has the solution please share this here for others!

Definitely a comfort thing as jojo12 said. The datepicker is a external javascript and it has to examined if the functionality of disabling a date region is provided. Then it could be implemented if we find time for it.
