Setting-up a demo?
Re: Setting-up a demo?
12 years 6 months agome neitherhow is the uninstall? I never tried
one thing that has been chnaged is the drop of the tables. With EL the tables were dropped when the script was un-installed. But to prevent such a thing with JEM the uninstall-sql script has been blanked.

I do not want to install something just to get a feeling. If it is crap, it is "too late".
That's the purpose of a demosite, you can quickly see if you like the design, concept, etc.
Maybe there are people reviewing components who make youtube video or so. They do it for many things, so why not Joomla components

Re: Setting-up a demo?
12 years 6 months ago - 12 years 6 months agoA demo with demo-venues and demo-events would be great. Best would be if it resets every 12 hours. Backend access is needed too.
Modules, CB integration. Pfff... lots of work!
Think 12hrs is short, but yep it's a lot of work.. But on the other hand what is isn't. Something that can be done is to set-up a workign front-end that's quite easy to do.. Think it's something to try out next month
