Modifying Emails sent to registered attendees
1 year 8 months ago
Hi,
I have a need to change the content of emails that are sent out to attendees of events.
Specifically I need to remove the Venue: line and I would like to include images (currently images are stripped out of the event descriptions).
Any help would be appreciated

JEM does not have any option to customize the fields in email notifications. I have opened an issue on GitHub regarding this:

Thanks a lot for your suggestions about the new design og plugin JEM mailer.
You can change the email's subject and message text using Joomla's language overrides. Review the strings in \plugins\jem\mailer\language\en-GB\plg_jem_mailer.ini file.
The emails are sent to the email address each user has in their Joomla profile. If you want to change the email user, go to the user profile.
We are thinking about them for future updates, as adding attachments (like .ics files or PDFs) to emails, or sending targeted reminders to specific groups of attendees (idea).
We can't promise a release date, but we've noted your request. It's very helpful for planning our future work.
