Wide Module - today shows old(est) events instead of today's ones

Hi everybody, don't know if it's actually a bug (maybe some parameter needs an adjustment?), but after installing version 4.3.4 of JEM on a Joomla! 5.3.3 site the Wide Module set to show the Today events actually shows the oldest events (dated Jan, 2022), instead of the correct ones.
Until version 4.3.3 everything was just working fine.
