I use
- purity iv template style with layout business in general. Examples are: pcagev at domain de
- purity iv template style with layout default (set as DEFAULT TEMPLATE Style!!! ) for modules which prefer the "component" layout
- casseiopei template/style only for testing purposes - page test-event-details at site pcagev in domain de
A Public menu item "Veranstaltungen" uses style purity iv business and JEM mod_teaser
B Hidden menu item "test-event-details" uses template Casseiopeia and JEM simplelist
In both cases A and B the click on the title creates an "empty" page, style purity iv business
and the url (without backslash) "component jem event xx:yyyy"
So component jem event creates a page, which is
not based on the DEFAULT STYLE (purity iv with layout default) but instead uses the purity iv business layout.
Question: How does JEM selects the style for a newly created detail page: Manually or is that done by a Joomla build-in function? What is the name of that function?
I guess JEM uses a Joomla build in function so I have to open an issue at Joomla.
Other root cause:
Maybe it is an issue with my installation - that i will check in a test environment tomorrow.
