[SOLVED] Weird behaviour when editing an event from frontend

Hi everybody,
I'm facing a very strange behaviour when editing an event from the frontend: the User Menu, which usually appears on the right side, moves to the left, in an     extremely narrow and vertical text, i. e. unreadable, pushing the event down below.
Please have a look at the pictures.

I think the JEM icons (in the top-right corner) are from version 2.3.x for Joomla 3.
Have you migrated JEM?
Are you sure you have installed JEM 4.3.4?

Is it possible that you had changings in overrides, which don't work anymore?

no overrides in place (as far as I know...  )
In the meantime I discovered what follows: by chance I logged in with an user who is Super-user, and when editing an event everything works just fine! I mean, the user menu remains on the right, where it has to be.
My "normal" user is a member of an "Editors" JEM group, with the permissions shown in the picture.

I tried to reproduce your scenario (a registered user in the Editor group with full JEM permissions), and I was able to edit both events and venues without any issues.

This suggests that the error you're encountering might be caused by a plugin in your Joomla installation.

To help us diagnose the problem, could you please test the following?

Switch to a default template and editor: Please try using the Cassiopeia template and the TinyMCE editor to see if the error persists.

Enable System Debug: Activate the Joomla System Debug with the reporting level set to "Maximum." This will provide more detailed error messages that can help identify the root cause.

Please let me know the results of these tests.
