I tried the suggestion to create a hidden menu item with an archived event as a single event. For me that is the solution, the other home modules are not shown anymore when a single event is chosen from the module.

Thanks to your patience I was able to solve it anyway. I have read all your posts carefully again and tried to follow the described procedure step by step again. And now it has worked.
