No HTML editor for override
No HTML editor for override
3 weeks 10 hours ago
In the simplelist menu item, I can format the intro text as HTML using the standard editor. This is not possible in the Calendar menu item.
Is this an error on my part, a bug in JEM, or is it actually intended?

Hi, actually it's holiday time, so answers will need more time.
But until now, it's not intended to add an additional html editor for intro texts for menues. Because these texts should be only for some help and not more. Simplelist, which is something like a mandatory menue, has an editor.
It is possible, that the meanings for this can change.

In JEM, you can change the intro of events in HTML, including the size, color, and other text attributes.as article.
Review your setting (editor by default).
In the screenshot, you can see the intro HTML in both the event view and the event list view.

@McKillo:
I think, this is a misunderstanding! This because of same use of "introtext" for two different things
I think Bigga means:
in the menu setting for simplelist "introtext" and "footertext" there is a html editor. (this is for text which is shown on top of simplelist)
in the menu setting for calendar "introtext" there is only a textfield. (same for weekcalendar, categorycalendar, venuecalendar)
in the textfield you can use e.g. <b> for bold text. (My opinion: This is enough.)

Apologies, I agree with your point. That said, the intro text with HTML is also functioning correctly in the Event View menu settings.

Sorry, I found more "introtext" in the menue settings.
So I ask, is it much work and much more code to introduce the editor everywhere?
