Rules

The General

In general, please always keep in mind that this website is the dedicated work of a team of volunteers, that are putting all their effort in bringing you the best free, stable and functional Event Management Component for Joomla.
The forum moderators and the JEM developers do their best to help where possible, but this forum is mainly intended for the users to help other users. So please consider this forum as a service, not a right.

The Obvious

Obviously, we just ask you to take the basic rules of politeness into account.
What that means: Keep your language decent, do not insult anyone, and be helpful to others if you can. Simple isn't it?

The Specific

  • Please post in English. It might not be your native language, but it allows the most users to read, understand and answer your post. Or at least to learn from it, when they are dealing with the same question as you.
  • Check that your question has not been answered anywhere else on the site. Use the search feature.
  • Please do not use this site to advertise your own business. So please do not post irrelevant commercial messages.
  • Please do not refer to any URL in your profile name. JEM is about people, domain names in forum/login names are not allowed.
  • Do not use a URL as a thread title.
  • Do not use an email address as profile name
  • Any signature or avatar that is offensive or insulting to either us or our members are prohibited.
  • We reserve the right to ask you to change and/or remove your signature or avatar at any time, for any reason.

In any case of discussion or conflict the decision of the moderators is final. However, we will always do our best to motivate that decision, except for post with a commercial nature that are irrelevant to JEM. They will be removed, the poster will be banned and the IP address blocked without notification or explanation.
