Front end publish, unpublish and trash don't work for events

It was really hard to reproduce your issue.
The last picture helped: it is in "my events". You're right, there's a problem we didn't know. I will post it to github. I hope, one of our devs has time beneath his real life to correct this.
Meanwhile your enduser can change the status always when his logged in going directly to the event detail and choosing the edit icon.

Thanks immensely for your patience, I will look at creating a module to select and unpublish/trash/delete events because its a bit of a pain if you've accidentally created 52 events with recurrence (weekly classes).

I could be terribly wrong about it but I read a completely unrelated article that was joomla related, basically it said the code isn't there on the front end because it's in /administrator so frontend users can't access it.

These icons are built in output.class.php and in the first part there is which icons are in which pages. Your problematic page is myevents!
