Front end publish, unpublish and trash don't work for events

Ensure that users have the necessary permissions to perform these actions on events. 't have the appropriate permissions, they won't be able to publish, unpublish, or move events to the trash from the front end.

If the user doesnt have permissions, then the icons don't show

In the image I provided the icons are displayed, the message says 1 item successfully published but the icon next to the title quite clearly shows as unpublished. I'm happy enough with making my own module to perform the tasks so I'd call this closed.

I have tested and the icon (last column) for each event are right for unpublish or publish event.
