Help requested for layout adjustment in event list
Help requested for layout adjustment in event list

Hi,
If I show the event list on the frontend as a component and as a module, I want the event title on the same line as the details.
Now it looks like this:
I think I could do this with an override. But I don't know in which file and I don't know what I should change there.
Who can give me an example of what I should do for this?
Both for the event list layout in component and in module.
Regards,
Wouter

Hi,
first try it with writing something in the JEMsettings>layout>tablewidth (see notes in help responsive).
but then the date is first column.
then for the override you use site/common/default_jem_eventslist_small.php

With typing the word something or anything else in the field Table witdh I see everything in one line when I use the component as menu item.
But in the module the event title jis still in top.
And I can't find the file for the override.
Can I fgind that file in thge J4 backend whem I search for a new template override?

After some searching I found the file here:
../components/com_jem/common/views/tmpl/responsive/default_jem_eventslist_
My knowledge of PHP is not gvery good.
So I struggled with the correct changes.
Is there somebody who can post a file where the title is the first gcolumn and then Date and so on?
And where do I have to save the changed file so it will be an override and that it will not be overwritten by an update of JEM?

Hi Wouter
First create Child Template so your Template changes are not overwritten by Joomla Updates
Second create overwrite for JEM in your child template
Last, copy this file in to the overwrite HTML JEM folder
Then you will be able to make the changes in this file.
Best Regards, Marcel

Hi Marcel,
Thanks for your reply.
I do know the way to create an overwrite.
But the main question is now which file I need for an overwrite to create what I descriped in my question above.
Do you hknow what file I have to use?
