[SOLVED] JEM Modules don't use the configured home settings

Correction, I did not look well: there is no difference between the events made in Joomla3 and those made in Joomla4.
I had a wrong look because the module changes of place on the event-pages, sometimes left, somtimes right, sometimes more down on the page, so I did not see it at once.
I still hope jojo can explain his answer more detailed.
EDIT: pctech did this already! Thanks

Hi Harry
Like in Joomla many time you need to have a Menu Entry to the View, in this case to the single event. There you can also further configure what is to display.
If you not want to see this menu entry, then create a new menu, eg, hidden menu and add also an menu module with position like eg hidden.
In this "hidden menu" you create then all the entrys you need the Seo path (register, lost Password,...) or in this case the single event menu entry.
Best Regards, Marcel

Thank you, Marcel.
The possibility of a hidden menu I know.
But my problem is:
on the homepage ( handelingen.com/joomla4 ) there is a module 'AGENDA' (at the right side), with a lot of events.
You can click on the events, and than you get the single page of that event (for instance: click on the first event 'Scholen als deeltaak van de geestelijk verzorger' and you get this page: handelingen.com/joomla4/index.php/compon...geestelijk-verzorger ).
On that single page of the event the modules of the homepage ('U ZOEKT IETS', 'Zoeken', 'AGENDA' are also shown , although the modules have only the homepage set in menu assignment.
My intention is that those modules are not shown on that single page of the event.
I don't understand how I can get that done with a hidden menu, because if I assign them only to that hidden menu the modules won't be shown on the homepage anymore.
Or do I understand something wrong?
I hope I can make myself clear, English is not my native language.

Hi Harry
Just try it out and make an menu entry to the single CATEGORY page. Then set in the event module display only at the page selected and choose only Home. Does this work on your site?
Question : Do you have Seo URL rewrite in Joomla active?
Second Question, do you have url forward active and maybe old entrys there?
Best Regards, Marcel

Hi Marcel,
First the answers to your questions:
ad 1: no
ad 2: no
I tried tot make a hidden menu with an entry to JEM-single category, the menu not published -> doesn't work
I tried tot make a hidden menu with an entry to JEM-single event, the menu not published -> doesn´t work
So, although this item now has the status 'Solved´, for me it is not solved yet.
Of course this in no way detracts from my gratitude to you nor to jojo, but maybe you can try it again to help me.
In the meantime, I'm curious whether Wilco has already been able to solve the problem.
Regards,
Harry

Hi Harry
I'm sorry, I didn't put solved there...
Yes it's curious why this module shows up every where on your site. We need to go true this issue together.
I'm, just able to confirm, how you see on the test site, "normally" it works with the selection where the module has to display. So we need to find out why in your environment this not work properly.
So I may ask you some questions.
I also can analysing your page, for this send me pm. Something is wrong there.
Best Regards, Marcel
