Events import error
Events import error

Hello,
I am getting the following error when importing a events.csv file.
1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MariaDB server version for the right syntax to use near '48,0)' at line 3 SQL=INSERT INTO `#__jem_cats_event_relations` (`catid`,`itemid`,`ordering`) VALUES (,48,0)
My events.csv does not have any locid or categories.
Can I import events.csv without locid and categories and set them later in the component ?
Thanks

hi designt,
from what earlier version are you importing events? A JEM version? Eventlist?

Hi,
Many thanks for your update.
I just follow these steps to get an empty events.csv file.
I install Jem 2.2.0 and export the events to get an empty events.csv file.
Then I just fill these fields in the csv file:
dates, enddates, title, alias, created_by, modified, modified_by, version, checked_out, checked_out_time and published
I left empty all the other fields including locid and categories.
Importing this file I get the error.
Is something missing ?

Because excel has sometimes a really strange comportement, I would propose as following:
1. Create one event and export that, so you can see not only the field names but the rules of the field too.
In my experience excel changes sometimes things.
2. To try create an other event in excel with the same rules. Save it as csv.
3. Import it and have a look, if an error occurs.
4. When all is ok, then you can input a lot of events in excel and then import them.
