AS there are a lot of options etc maybe it would be good to add a print tmpl. This way you can modify what you want and can strip out a lot of code if it's not needed.

to have a separate print-template of the event view. if you click on the print icon in event-view a popup opens with the event in print view, but I cannot hide something there, expect if I add css to media/com_jem/css/print-responsive. but editing this file is not update safe, I believe
