check-in functionality
6 years 8 months ago
I was wondering if, apart from the options of waiting list, attend or not attend, an admin of an event could use the check-in functionality. Now I just use JEM as a guest-list and if would be great if I could actually strike off the people on the guest-list who really showed up, as in check-them in on site. After the event I could then mail those who really attended and not just those who have set themselves to attending.
Looking forward to hearing if such functionality exists or might be released in a newer version soon?

is there anyone who does understand english that might be able to help?
to mark the attending guests as present at the location using the backend tool so we can follow-up on those who actually came to the event?

I am trying to find a solution for you inside the existing possibilities! Because such new functionality needs much additional work and I am not sure, if our free devs will find time and motivation to add this.
you can choose if event registration is possible ( for non-admins).Meanwhile you can add/delete users in backend.
you can choose if event unregistration is possible or not ( for non-adminss).Meanwhile you can add/delete users in backend.
So you can delete users on the attending list in backend, if there are not checked in.
(I understand now: it would be helpful to have an additional possibility: not only invited, non-attening, attending, but checked-in too! And it would be helpful to have a button in backend who makes an attending to be checked-in.)
