I want to set up a series of events in the backend and give users permissions to edit them. But I don't want to give them permission to copy the event.

I've set up the permissions (Settings>User Control) to disable Create Events (Admin only option) but that doesn't seem to have had any effect. Obviously I can't disable Edit Events as this would defeat the purpose.

Am I missing a setting somewhere? Or does Edit rights imply that users can copy events in the front end? If this is true, is there a workaround to hide the copy icon on the front end?
