Hi All,

I use Joomla 3.9.22, JEM 2.3.0
I added a group so some registered user can add events.
But if a user added an event and saves the event and opens the event again, all HTML tags are gone.

e.g.
<p> test txt </p>
<p> Extra test </p>

Looks like 'test txtExtra test' on screen. One long string

If an administrator or an author creates an events, all tags are saved.

To make an extra test, I asked a user to create an event and use tags. After saving the event, all tags were gone. I (as administrator, added the tags and saved the event. The text was displayed as I expected. But when the user opened the event, made a small change in the text and saved the event again, all tags were gone and got one long string.

How can I solve this issue?
Thank you for your help

Kind regards,
Emile

Hello Emile,

Unfortunately JEM uses its own groups that differ from the Joomla! groups. (Nowadays a shortcoming in my eyes.)
(Only) for Joomla! groups you can set the text filter in the Joomla! configuration.

So I guess, the users in your JEM groups belong to a Joomla! group with a text filter "No HTML".

Kind regards,
Wolfgang

Hi Wolfgang,

Thank you very much. This solved the problem. I switched the user to 'Default blacklist'

Kind regards,
Emile
