With every template and every extension comes this risk and issues.

Hi Mrgreg, I understand that. you can always have these problems. Helix 3, however, it seems too problematic. I tried with other template and this problem did not get one. Maybe I will have other problems. I hope not.

Instead I can not understand why you wrote. Perhaps my English is not very good

Uninstalled some things, turned off some FP modules, etc.
I also found a couple of extensions that could be useful. They allow you to turn some of these things on and off where you see fit. You might consider this route

@AchLive

will take a look.

you mentioned JEM 2.1.3 but did you upgrade to JEM2.1.4 in the meanwhile?
am going to test that one out with Joomla 3.4.1 this as i'd like to see the problem too.

Think the problem is happening due to the bootstrap files included in that template wich can be the problem as they're probably using Bootstrap 3 while Joomla itself is using Bootstrap 2.x BS3 will define a lot of things and can make JEM look very ugly. As a result we should address it in jem.css or a seperate jembs3.css in the future.

But as said will take a peak.

and seems it's indeed due to Bootstrap 3.
The default bootstrap 2.x version of Joomla did include a fix but BS3 as standalone doesn't

Over here at the RSJoomla forum someone noticed the problem too and Octavian did provide an answer to it.
