Hi,
Mij current site is 2.5.28 with Jem 2.x
With de export-function I exported the events, categories and venues

I build a new site with J 3.4.1. and JEM 3.0.7 (I know its supposed for testing) but all seemded going well.

Alltough now i noticed that the events ain't subjected right to the venues.
In J2.5. an event was signed tot venue 480, now in the J 3.4.1. its suddenly signed to venue 490
Question: How can i resolve this?
When does come out the beta-version of JEM 3.x?
Can I easily go back to JEM 2.1.3 for my new site?
Thanks for reading
Answer in dutch is okay. 2.5 site // 3.4.site

Hi, welcome on this forum. I will try to answer as much as I can. The others can then give better answers
For Updating from Joomla 2 to Joomla 3 the normal way should be: update Joomla!
First of all you make a working backup!
If you want to change after to JEM 3, then - just beeing on Joomla 3 - you can export to CSV-files
Then you have to uninstall JEM 2 with the global setting of Cleanup DB on uninstall=yes
Then you install JEM 3 and import the CSV-files (my way is to choose always "Replace if ID exists (else create new)"=yes
At least that way, I had no such problems.

When does come out the beta-version of JEM 3.x?

This is a good question, but I can't answer. Our JEM 3 developer doesn't like this way with alfa-beta... So each version is just a version like beta. I hope @Bluefox can answer.

Can I easily go back to JEM 2.1.3 for my new site?

yes, because you have a backup, I hope ;)
on JEM 2.3.0 stable in latest Joomla (3.9.22) Protostar php7.4.5

Sorry guys with my late response.
I know all ready what I dit wrong. I exporterd via phpmyadmin and not the exportfunction of JEM.
I have dediced te remove all data and component form my 3.4.1. site. After that I installed JEM 2.1.3 and did the right export from my 2.5 site and imported again in my J3.4.1. site. Now is all working correctly.
