Kommentarfunktion in JEM Events möglich? Wie? 7 years 11 months ago #18127

Hallo, der Titel sagt eh alles. "Kommentarfunktion in JEM Events möglich? Wie?"

Am liebsten wäre uns dies mit der Kunena Forumssoftware zu machen, aber ich hab kein Plug in für JEM gefunden.
Hat wer eine Idee oder besser Lösung?
Vielen Dank und lG
Paul

we do have a plugin for JComments so that one can be used.

The Kunena discuss thing is a bit difficult to change as it's looking at com_content like
// If scope isn't articles or Kunena, do not register plug-in.
		if ($this->app->scope != 'com_content' && $this->app->scope != 'com_kunena') {
			return;
		}
and there will be more things to change.
but if really needed it can be adapted.

Did test a bit and it's possible to adapt the plugin and make it work with Kunena but it requires some Kunena core hacking to be done and it won't help that we're having a multi-category feature.

It seems to be that we need to check category's+permissions and only thinking about that, pff..rather skip that and use Jcomments (way easier to use).

to use Kunena we have to:
- adapt the plugin to look at context "com_jem.event"
- adapt the xml file of the plugin
- adapt the library file: libraries/kunena/bbcode/bbcode.php
add function $doEvent + adding an entry in the "default_tag_rules"
There needs to be an additional function as the the article one will obviously look at com_content.
- and there are probably some more things to think about..

attached you'll see some images of how it's currently over here but it won't be committed as a lot more needs to be adapted but will leave that to someone else.

I understand well that plugin for Kunena comment in development? Is known a date that could be released stable version?
JComments I do not use - I do not want to have two components for comments on the site. Linking with Kunena would be great.

Hm... because we're the JEM team and not the Kunena team I see some difficulties at least at point

- adapt the library file: libraries/kunena/bbcode/bbcode.php

To provide an "official" plugin I would prefer the way to talk witth the Kunena guys about a joint solution.
Hallo Paul,

Sorry.

plugin for Kunena comment in development? He is known for a date that could be released stable version?

have to say no..

Did adapt the discuss plugin, but to make things work you have to alter a core file of kunena and alter the discuss plugin. At the moment i've no clue of how to adapt things easily so a plugin won't be in the making.

understandable
