Change Date Format On Details Page 7 years 7 months ago #16625

Nov 12, 2015 - Nov 15, 2015

I would like it like this:
November 12, 2015 - November 15, 2015

to make this happen you need to change the format of the date.
instead of M you can use F

Sorry I think that you are misunderstanding what I am asking. Maybe what I am asking is not possible that's why.

On the main page with all the listings in the table (eventtable), I want the short date Nov 12, 2015.

But when I click on a listing to see the details I want the long date: November 12, 2015.

So the format on the listings page would be different than the format on the listing details page.

Is this possible? Thank you!

@MyWorld

within the settings-view you have two fields where you can insert the date format.
looking at the screenshot that you posted the settings are the same and that's not how it should be.

format date: here you should enter the format for the long date (event-view)
format date (short) this is for the tables and there you can insert the format for the tables

//
as noted the backend date display will probably give problems but that will be a concern for later

It's perfect now.

For "Format date (short)" I used: M j, Y

For "Format date" I used: F j, Y

With that change the listings in the table (eventtable), the date is showing like this: Nov 12, 2015.

And on the details page, the date is showing like this: November 12, 2015.

Thank you :)

Sorry to bother you... I would prefer the 12hour time format but I can't seem to be able to change it from the 24hour time format. I tried a couple options but nothing seems to work. What is the correct format please?

This is what I currently have in the backend: %H:%M

Thanks in advance!

Sorry to bother you...

no problem at all..
so if you have any more questions: just ask.

What is the correct format please?

that would be something like
%I:%M

Be aware that in this case w're using a different php function and it's called strftime, doing so we will need different params. The params for strftime are located over here

//
hmm, noticed that the time setting will have problems with JEM3 in event-view this as the new function is mapping some variables but not all.
