Because we plan two different versions for J! 2.5 and J! 3.x we need a way how users can/should upgrade their site from J! 2.5 to J! 3.x.

I mean should Joomla upgraded first and then JEM or in reverse order?
It should be possible to update Joomla and JEM without the need to export/import data and/or uninstall/reinstall JEM.

That's why I dreamed about a combined version - but in dreams things are easy. ;)

Maybe we can find out which things are working with one Joomla version only. Then we could take a look how to solve this.

But as bigger the diff as more complicated this will be.

...another dream was to have a lot of time... B)

Does someone tries the Jem 3.0.1 on Joomla 2.5. This would be very interesting!

Does someone tries the Jem 3.0.1 on Joomla 2.5.
didn't try it out but think the data in the xml will prevent itand there are a lot of error you'll get.

it would have been nice if it was possible but unfortunately it's not.
