[SOLVED] disable the description 8 months 1 week ago #27219

Thank you very much for the support you have provided me.
Everything works as I want. I really ask you for the last change. I would like to disable the description field ... (see attachment). I already have all the necessary information, I don't need the "description" field, how can I disable it?

Thanks again for your help

Create a template override for "editevent"

Maybe you remember:
in the backend/admin area go to "templates", choose your template, choose "Create Overrides", choose "com_jem" an there click on "editevent".

Open the override file "edit.php" in
/templates/YOUR-TEMPLATE/html/com_jem/editevent/responsive/

Delete line 148 till 152:
<div>
<?php echo $this->form->getLabel('articletext'); ?>
<?php echo $this->form->getInput('articletext'); ?>
</div>
<p>&nbsp;</p>

E già fatto! – dovrebbe funzionare ;-)
