Be aware it is test version and has to be altered more.

It would be handy to be able to have Eventlist and New JEM installed side by side.

Install and import instead of upgrade and alter.

I know baby steps.. baby steps.
I will be going through it here shortly.

@Newworg,.

The thing about installing side-by-side is indead a good point to consider. And I don't think it's that hard to make it happen (changing name of xml + references in the files).

Yep babysteps :)..

Timezone in the ICS file 8 years 1 week ago #8938

Hi Bluefox,

it's really great to see that EventList still lives on – I've been looking for EL 1.1 for Joomla 2.5 for quite some time, especially because of the Ical functionality.

I found a bug in /site/helpers/helper.php: The "offset" config variable returned by Joomla 2.5 is not a float (anymore?), but a String that contains the timezone's name. So replacing lines 663-664 and 689-690 by
$timezone_name = JFactory::getConfig()->getValue('config.offset');
is sufficient to create an ICS file with correct time zone set.

Cheers,
Eriq
