Everything will be green and free. I hope and think it is somthing simple and i am very hopefull that somebody have an idee.

hi Muck,.

thx for trying it out.

some questions:
- did you check if the category is published?
- did you check the permission of the category
- what version of JEM did you install?
- what version of Joomla do you have?

as you're posting it in this topic i guess you're installing it within Joomla 2.5 and that you have JEM 1.9.6 installed. An event should have a category but if it's not published the events won't be shown in the front.

Hello,
many thanks for the fast answere. Yes Joomla ist 2.5 and the version from you is 1.02 . A category is also there but the cat. not displayed in the frontend. In the backend you see the category and it is also green.

In the config is everything free ( it looks like ).

the version from you

it's a team effort.

The version you're referring to is the Eventlist component so wil move the topic to the dedicated category. That version won't be updated at it will have issues with new PHP version.

In the config is everything free ( it looks like ).

so is it correct that:
- event is published
- category is published
- the access of the category (usergroup) is correct

maybe it's easier if i can take a look at your backend.
--> you can send me a PM if you want.

just an idea:

It could be a jQuery/Mootools conflict. So you could disable all modules for test.

A second chance could be a conflict with a plugin. So you could disable all (non-Joomla) plugins (content + system) for test.

was thinking a bit difficult with this one.

But the view that is being mentioned is the myevents view.
And it won't display events as we're a visitor.
