I need the ical funktion vor Eventlist 1.0.2, because a lot of Poeple would like to integreate the Events into Outlook, Lotus Notes etc. The Solution which was postet in the Forum here is not working. Is there any other Solution vor this?

hi Andy,

perhaps we can help with the Ical problem, but am wondering why the ical is not working for you.

- what is the problem?
- are you able to produce an ical file?
- what do you want to accomplish?

Well, tried the ical with Outlook and it seems to be working.

- i've downloaded the .ics file
- imported it into Outlook
- time seems to be correct
- it does have an issue with whole day events, but can be corrected by using Begin/end times.

Not sure if someone can point directly to the url of the ics to have the calendar updated automaticcaly as i'm testing it offline.

I have Eventlist 1.0.2 and not Eventlist 1.1 beta. In Eventlist 1.0.2 there is no ical export includit as in Eventlist 1.1 beta. Someone wrote a vcalendar file which I don´t find here any more. The other solution for ical don´t understand what to do. It would be great if there is a ical option integrated in the next JEM Version.

It would be great if you make a package with the changes which you made here: www.joomlaeventmanager.net/forum/15-el-1...la-1-6-2-5/7034-ical . Im not a programmer and the changes is to much vor me. It would be very helpful if there is the package with the vcalendar file and all the changes included for all the normal users like me.

hi Andy,.

There will be an Ical export in a new release of JEM. But unfortunately there is no exact release date for it :(. But i do agree that a basic version with ical can be done. I definately can make a package including Ical and some other features (gmap/content triggering) but that can make things very confusing as we're in the middle of setting up things.

But that said: if you're helped with it i can make a package with only Eventlist v1.02 + ical. (all other changes is to much for the moment)

Installing a package will overwrite the files you're using at the moment. So if you've made adjustments you'll lose them.

It seems i have to make an adjustment for the output as the link it not shown. Ah well, something more to do.
